ECOWOODCHALET.COM is one of the business units of Universal Marketing that has been established since 1997, under European ownership. ECOWOODCHALET (EWC) started as a marketing company, collaborated with manufactures in Bali, in developing high precision prefabricated structures.

After few years, EWC begun to involve in manufacturing and production of structural, framing and trim components, as well as the prefabrication of entire structures. Our customers are contractors, private individuals and also Project Developers and Investors.

Our building system utilizes tropical timbers and wood craftsmanship in combination with advanced technology and production methods. We purchases timber directly from certified government suppliers, managed forest concessions. The raw timbers are milled and kiln dried in their own factory at strict standards.

Our primary structural timber is Merbau (Intsia Pelembanica) and Bengkarai (Shorea Laevis Ridl), which is well known for its structural strength, dimensional stability, extreme resistance to insects or termites (superior to treated lumber), fire resistance and its heartwood carries various colors (brown gray, brown yellow, brown red or black). Merbau and bengkarai woods are mainly used for heavy construction, flooring, furniture, paneling, fine joinery, decorative turnery, cabinet making, musical instruments and special items.

The prefabricated wooden houses are constructed in Bali under the guidelines and control of both European and Indonesian Specialists and partners in prefabricating entire structures, such as building components for flooring, decking, doors, wood profiles, natural stone, roof tiles and metal works.

Our experiences in marketing research and manufacturing has made Ecowoodchalet has become more stronger and cost effective in production speed and supplying higher quality product, yet the pricing still remains competitive at standard and acceptable building costs.
